Profile

Jamie is currently studying Music at the University of Birmingham alongside membership in several prestigious choirs.

Before commencing his studies at the University of Birmingham, Jamie undertook a Gap Year as a Tenor Choral Scholar at Exeter Cathedral under Timothy Noon.

Jamie studied Singing at Abingdon under Andrew Yeates (Lay Clerk, St Paul's Cathedral, London) and John Cotton (Magdalene College & Christchurch Cathedral, Oxford) and led the Tenor section of Berkshire Youth Choir under Christopher Hann.

Jamie has performed under Ben Parry, Bob Chilcott, Ralph Allwood and Marion Alsop during his time with Berkshire Youth Choir and the National Youth Choir of Great Britain.

This piece was highly commended in the BBC Proms Inspire Composition Competition 2017. Premiered by the choir of Eton Choral Course No.5 under the direction of Ralph Allwood MBE.

A rework of a classic tune scored for 3 Violins, 2 Violas, 4 Violoncellos and one Double Bass.
Canticles in Bb
These canticles make use of both the Latin and English Liturgical texts. Composed using an adapted form of the Tintinnabuli technique created by Arvo Pärt.
